Atsuo is a logical person. He never rushes into things, and always has a plan. He naturally sees how the world should be, and thus acts as a leader. He values efficiency and his self-values over everything else. He is always to-the-point.
Atsuo valuing his own beliefs, sometimes forgets to do the same for others. This causes stress, and when he is stressed, he feels isolated. He feels misunderstood, and undervalued. He will feel as though his actions are taken for granted. He will try anything to get back on track, including just helping random people in need of assistance.
Overall, Atsuo is conscientious, putting forth all of his effort to do the right thing. He is practical and logical, taking caution in everything he does. He is dependable, someone you can trust. He does what is important to his goal, but he might not see the importance outside of his own beliefs.
Appearance:
Atsuo is tall, with medium length, dark-brown, almost black hair. His eyes are golden. His skin is pale, with slight hints of a tan. Because of his being pale, it is easy to see the many scars, most notably the complete circling cuts around his neck.
As for his clothes, they are not flashy or colorful, just simple brown and dull-red clothes. He usually wears a simple tunic-and-leggings set, with black boots. He also wears a cloak most of the time, ranging from a brown, or dull-gold, or black cloak. He wears brown gloves on his hands, except for when he is firebending.
History:
Atsuo was born frail. He was born frail because he was born prematurely; 8 months into his gestation period, his mother fell from a 20 foot drop, and was in critical condition. She gave birth to the frail but alive Atsuo, and his mother died in childbirth. His father, a mid-class farmer and militia-member, strove to raise him as best as he could, while juggling two jobs.
Throughout his life, Atsuo found difficulty. His condition got steadily better, but it wasn't until he was eleven that he really didn't have any problems. At this age, he began to train his firebending, and managed to learn a few techniques. Around this time, his father had gotten remarried, but Atsuo's new stepmother was cruel, mean, a horrible person. This caused Atsuo to run away when he was thirteen years old.
Atsuo escaped in the night, when his father and stepmother were sleeping. He got on the family komodo-rhino, and was gone by morning.
As of present day, Atsuo is traveling the wolrd, finding work where he can, but he prefers the work of bounty hunting, and he can be found in Ba Sing Se, preparing for a hunt....
