The sword is a normal sized katana, so that means it is a little larger than Yasu herself. ►Personality:
Yasu is the youngest child of the Quing Royal Family, and perhaps the most different. She is only ten years old but is perfectly capable of using novice leveled earthbending with little to no issues. Her IQ is also much higher than her age's average, in fact, it's almost three times as much. She was born with the gift of a photographic memory and a very wealthy family, allowing her access to almost any book or resource that she wants.
Unfortunately, Yasu was also born with a rare skin disease that is easily damaged by the sunlight. She can't be in direct sunlight for longer than an hour before her skin will start to blister.Her eyes are even more vulnerable to sunlight than her skin, so she wears a combat helmet equipped with shaded glasses to see for the limited time she is out in the sunlight. She wishes to research different types of bending so that she can somehow cure her skin disease, most likely through forms of energy bending, which is an extremely rare form of bending. However, Yasu has gone off track and on to a more sinister one.
Yasu has become very hateful and power hungry after her years seeking knowledge. She enjoys bullying other kids and doing other small evil deeds. Her lust for power and control is causing her to attempt bigger and bigger acts of evil. Her parents, siblings, and mostly everyone are completely unaware of her evil nature. Kids call Yasu a vampire to get her to stop bullying them, which offends her greatly.
As with most littler girls, she enjoys sweet foods and stuffed animals, giving her an innocent appearance.
►Bending Style:
Yasu is able to use novice level earthbending naturally as a member of the Royal Family, and then by improving her potential through books and other research resources. She is also able to swing a katana (with both hands) with enough force to at least slice the flesh of her enemy. She is vastly physically weaker than most people due to her young age and frail body.
In battle, although she prefers to let others do her dirty work, Yasu uses a combination of the Rock Shield and Earth and Earth Smash techniques through her feet for defensive strategies while she attacks with her light blade. Since she is unable to do anything like decapitate or slice somebody in half with her blade, she will attempt to finish off her enemies with the Earth and Stone Levitation technique, crushing her enemies.
►Appearance:
Yasu dresses rather unorthodox for being royalty. She isn't interested in fancy gems, dresses, and jewelry. Instead, much to her mother's dislike, she normally wears simple one colored dresses and her combat helmet over her long blonde hair. She is never seen wearing shoes. Her simple style of dress is usually dismissed by others, who view it as a childish display of innocent and individuality. In reality, Yasu just wants to be comfortable rather than looking like a doll.
Due to her skin disease, Yasu has pale skin that rarely sees the sun. Her eyes are red from sensitivity as well, giving her an otherworldly appearance. Her canines are also unusually sharp. All of these attributes are the reason why other kids call her a vampire.
►History:
One the twenty-second of November, ten years ago, the Quing Royal Family had their youngest and final child. The child was born unhealthily, and had to be taken into care immediately to prevent the child from dying a premature death. The doctors were able to prevent the infant's death. The child was healthy, but was also diagnosed with some sort of rare skin disease and would likely die around the age of twenty five. Despite all of the terrible news and complications, the King and Queen of the Earth Kingdom were happy their baby survived, and named her "Yasu", which means "peaceful child".
At very early ages Yasu was already showing signs of large amounts of brain development. She was able to open doors at the age of two and was able to walk with no problems by the age of four. She was also picking up her first books by the age of four was learning how to speak clearly. Her mother and father became proud of her progress and bought her any book that she wanted. By the age of eight, Yasu was able to complete a two-hundred page novel. Due to her gift of having photographic memory, she only got smarter and smarter with every book she read. She is aware that she will die around the age of twenty five, and is desperately attempting to expand her knowledge as much as possible in hopes of learning how to prevent it.
In the little time that Yasu spent outside, she was able to watch her family's demonstration of earth bending. By simply watching she was able to pick up the very basics. However, for whatever strange reason, she has trouble bending through her hands and arms and is much more efficient by bending through her feet. She has used the Rock Smash technique through her head a few times during practice, however. Almost everyday of Yasu's life was spent practicing bending and reading books.
She is rarely out in public due to her status as a princess and her skin disease. When she is out in public, though, she is extremely rude to others and even bullies children. There have been numerous occasions where Yasu will bully a kid until their mother or father tells her to go away and that they're going to call her parents. The red eyed girl always gets away with it after she tells them who her parents are. The kids call her a vampire to make her go away.
When she reached the ripe age of nine years old, Yasu learned about the ancient art of energy bending from an extremely old book. The details were short and vague, but it looked as if this type of bending might be able to cure her skin disease. From that day on, she decided to dedicate her life to finding the secret to energy bending or somebody capable of energy bending. And there's only one person known to have those kind of powers: The Avatar.
Yasu wishes to start a conflict large enough that will force The Avatar out of his hiding. The more powerful she becomes, the more of a threat she becomes, the better chance she has at making The Avatar come out of hiding. Then he'd be forced to cure her disease. This is her line of thinking, anyways.

✰ If she is not able to find a cure, Yasu will likely die around the age of 25. This greatly motivates her.
✰ She's indifferent about her family. She neither hates or loves them, but pretends to love them so she can get what she wants.
✰ Despite being extremely intelligent for her age, she is still innocent to bigger ideas such as religion, attraction to other humans, and complex ideas and scientific theories. Despite trying to study these subjects (along with medicine for her disease) she was unable to understand the idea behind them.
✰ Her gift of photographic memory allows her to remember even the smallest things. She can even remember bits and parts of her infant years.
