Yong Li stood near a large cart full of cabbages. Yong Li was an older man, but rather small in size and his posture was rather great for his age and though he looked withered, carried around a lot of strength fro having to move his cart around that seemed to always be filled to the brim. He wore standard earth kingdom clothes, a dark green dress which had tan sleeves coming out of the ends and loose tan pants. He wore a green headdress with grey hair poking out of it and had a tuft of a beard growing on his chin. All and all he looked like a regular Earth Kingdom civilian.
The sky was a bright orange, the sun was setting and it would soon be night. His fellow vegetable sellers were hesitantly dragging their own carts back to their homes, only a couple of feet away from the district. They knew now that it was very possible that their homes would be broken into, their families could end up hurt. Some of the cart owners were wishing good luck to Li and telling him to send the mercenaries their regards and hoped that they would not be worse than the gang that was causing trouble.
Yong Li wasn't worried though, whatever or whoever came, he would make sure that they would do their job and make sure the gang gets what they deserve. They stepped too far this time He thought to himself as he looked at the empty street before him. The mercenaries would soon be here no doubt. [/blockquote]

An unfamiliar land, an unfamiliar climate, and more importantly, unfamiliar people. This is what Kamik had to deal with on his trek to the mission; a land so different than his own brought about many new and interesting challenges. For one, there were so few sources of water compared to the Water Tribe lands that he almost felt at a disadvantage on this job. Surely he would be able to come across some pond or puddle in the duration of this event, but if not Kamik would have to rely on the small amount he traveled with in his bag.
If he remembered correctly, his employer would be an older gentleman who sold cabbages or something of the sort, and that is exactly what the young man looked for when he reached the village. Luckily, a good portion of the vendors had begun making their journeys home which narrowed the odds considerably; and honestly, how many cabbage vendors could there be in one setting? Regardless, that was the benefactor for this little mission and thus it was imperative that he be found.
Luckily, it only took a few minutes to spot the aged man and his cart full of green produce. With a fair pace Kamik made his way towards the man; it seemed as though he was the first to arrive.
"Kamik Tonrar, here to protect the... cabbages." It was a weird sentence to say, and one that would never get easier over time no matter how many times it was spoken. However, Kamik had signed up for this job and would see it through; no matter how odd sounding.

Malina stepped lightly through the marketplace of Ba Sing Se as it prepared for nightfall. All around her were carts being pushed into hiding and vendors locking their doors for the evening. The request had, at first, sounded silly, but the woman originally from the South Pole could now see that this was no game.
She had come prepared though. Malina's watertight satchel came stock full of swishing water (as was carried by most water benders) and she also had her bow and quiver full of twenty arrows. As the moon began to glow in the sky, the brunette could feel her own spiritual presence growing larger and larger. Should the triad strike tonight, Malina would be able to strike back just as hard.
Over there! Malina spied whom she suspected was her employer. And older man, speaking with a young man who looked to be more closely related to Malina than any Earth Kingdom citizen yet. She directed her steps in their direction, standing beside the one who had just introduced himself as Kamik.
"Are you Yong Li?" Malina asked, assuming it to be true. "I am Malina. I'm here to help you with your situation."

Renshu walked through the market place with his trusted fire ferret Lok curled up on his head resting. He watched as the vendors all were pushing their carts away probably hiding them from potential thieves or something. The prince couldn't help but question why anyone would want to steal cabbages, he could understand maybe something like gold or rare treasures but cabbages? Must be a group of people who are so poor they can't afford anything, that must suck.
He didn't expect much of a fight despite what the ad had said. He had plenty of experience fighting earth benders when he trained with Yong so he pretty much knew every trick in the book. Renshu figured he wouldn't even have to use his fire bending and would only have to use his swords. Soon he had forgot what his client looked like and where he would be located at but the other vendors were leaving so it would make things a bit easier.
It didn't take him long to find the guy and see some others too. "Ren Zhixin for protecting the vegetables," He said as he reached the old man, Renshu tried his best not to laugh at the sentence he had just said this whole thing sounded a bit ridiculous to him.

Good! All three of them came exactly on time. It was strange, seeing two Water Tribe people and someone from the fire nation This was of course, very distinguishable as the moving of water could be heard from the first boy and woman and with the moon already coming out, Yong Li had very high hopes to these two and their abilities. The other one, he looked like a person from the fire nation, but if he was a bender or not, the man had no knowledge. However, he did have a Fire Ferret around his neck. Anyway, they were here and thats all that mattered to the man. He would make those scoundrels pay for taking his produce, well, they would.
Glad that his investment harvested good results, Yong Li spoke up as the last one arrived. Yes, I am Yong Li. I thank all of you for coming to assist me in taking care of my cabbages." The elder man thanked, nodding to the group before motioning to the last of the stalls as they were dragged away, leaving only the mission group in the square. "All of you know the situation, correct? I would hope so if you read the flyer I put out. Our marketplace has been plagued by many thieves, who have been stealing money and our produce, not to mention harassing us shop keepers." Yong Li did not really care for his neighbouring shops, this had been happening long before he had ever advertised and yet as soon as they stole his money and cabbages, he was first to step up to this situation.
"They are the gang known as the Ijolites, a group that has been active for a while in Ba Sing Se but only now, have they messed with the wrong people. I want you people to go after them, they usually go around here and check if there's anything worth getting. When they come along, fight or follow them. I want to see the leader of that gang behind bars! " The man, realizing how loud his voice had gotten stopped for a second. "..Or at least won't harm any of my friends. You are all bound to get into combat in this mission. Are you sure you are all ready?" [/size]

Within moments of each other two more people would show up for the job. One seemed to also be from the Water Tribe while the other smelled of smoke and ash. Though looks could often be deceiving the group as a whole seemed like a suitable bunch for a task such as this, but it would not be until any actual combat that said looks would be put to the test. More over, if the lone female was also a water bender then the search for a decent sized body of liquid became a top priority. The small amount Kamik carried on his person was barely adequate for himself, and there certainly wasn't going to be much to share.
As the old man began to rattle on about the terrorization of his produce and what not, Kamik wondered just how many of them there could be, and how strong they actually were. Since they took it upon themselves to harass frail, aged produce sellers there was a possibility that this was just a group of near harmless thugs that picked on even more harmless people. Disgusting.
The instructions given were fairly clear: subdue without death. A wise strategy for one wanting to see another punished by the full extent of the law. This would certainly be an interesting bout considering the two people he had never seen, and more importantly had never fought with, in his life. "Ready and able." Kamik replied to Yong Li as his eyes continued to search for a water source of sorts. With the light beginning to fade there would only be so long the group could search for water in a foreign land before it became a crap shoot in the dark.

Malina nodded to her employer, signifying that she was prepared for the night ahead of her. She honestly hadn't expected this task to be much trouble. After all, she was just protecting a few heads of lettuce. "I suggest you go home now, Mr. Li, before the gangsters arrive."
The moon was high now, and the sun was nearly all gone. The only light shining down upon Ba Sing Se was supplied by the bright moon spirit and from stray lamps in homes. Malina turned to her companions for the night. "My name is Malina, by the way," she introduced herself, finally turning to the other water tribesman. "I believe that those barrels there beside the homes are filled with water," she pointed to some brown containers found beside each home's front door. "Should we make sure before the Ijolites come?" Renshu still thought all of this was a bit ridiculous, saving a bunch of cabbages that is. More importantly what kind of gang goes after cabbages? Whatever their goal was it really didn't matter to Renshu that much just the fact that he was getting paid for his time here. Well the fact that the old man said they were also coming after money made Renshu figure that these guys would be more of a threat which means a better fight which was always good. "Don't worry we'll make sure these thieves get taught a good lesson," Renshu said with a smirk to the client to reassure him nothing would happen to his precious merchandise.
Renshu then got a good look at the other two people there. They both looked like water benders which didn't bother him at all as long as they were good fighters. "You guys already now my name and don't worry about the water for me," The fire bender said as he took out his twin dao swords. "I'll be fine,"
