No one knew exactly why or where, so they waited for his return. Without the Avatar to keep peace, the Nations grew suspicious of each other. Fearing that one day the other nations will try to gain power and take over. With the sudden tension created by the absence of the Avatar, the Nations are now edgy with each other. With that they each protected themselves, prepared their military in case of war, taking their benders and nonbenders alike out of peacetime.
Centuries passed and still there was no sign of the Avatar returning. Soon people lost track of which nation his next reincarnation should be in. After so many years everyone lost hope of the return of the Avatar. By now war is just around the corner, tensions are high and one wrong move from one nation can trigger a war. However there are still people out there trying to prevent the war, so they settled on trying to search for the Avatar themselves. Others who support the war is trying to recruit as many military members as they possibly could.
Unknown to anyone, the Avatar has been in hiding trying to plan out his return. He plans to gain power and take full control of all the nations. It is uncertain how he became this way during his centuries missing. To avoid being found, the Avatar would move around to different cities or nations as to not gain suspicion. What future lies ahead for the Nations? Will you be for or against the war? |
