Personality:

With Lee comes a mixed personality. He hides the fact that he is a bender as long as he can from people. Though he loves the fact that he is a bender, he tries to hide it in order for people to get to know him better. He will reveal it if he is in danger or in front of trusted friends, but that is all. Trust is a very important thing for Lee. If you break it once, he will never trust you the same way again. Aside from all his seriousness, Lee is a very laid back person. He likes telling jokes and screwing around with people. He also likes making new friends and getting stronger, but when his friends and family are in danger, his attitude changes greatly. Around strangers, he either keeps to himself if it is a sketchy looking person, and he will try to befriend them. Lee also has a love for animals because he was always around them as a youth. Lee is also a courageous person. He may not be able to be a leader, but he would be the first to react to a situation. Lee has a nervous habit of playing with his swords or bending when he is nervous. Lee is clauserphobic (Fear of closed spaces), spectrophobic(Ghosts), aquaphobic(Drowning), and Iatrophobia(Doctors).

Appearance:

As a firebender, Lee likes to dress comfortably and traditially. He sports black and red long sleeve robe, with a yellow over a white short sleeve undershirt. There is a small fire nation symbol on the left side of the sleeves of his robe. His pants are crimson red colored and slightly baggier to ensure swift movements. The shoes that he wears are black well, matching the color of his robe. His hair is short and seems to stick up in all directions, it is deep brown as well as his eyes. He is often seen with a dirt or injuries on his face, arm, or body because of his training. Like most firebender he is rather toned. His body is built to his liking thanks to all of the training his firenending master and his father gave him. He excels in upper body strength with all of the training from firebending. He does however, he gives up defense with his no armor. With Lee being light on his feet, he is able to move with swift movements. The custom dual Dao swords that he sports are tucked away in the dark brown colored holder which he keeps attached by a rope to his back. He keeps his dual hook swords hidden inside of his robes in case of emergency. His elemental sword hilts are kept also hidden in his robes, but in the pants part. Which are held up by his yellow belt.

History:

Lee had a pretty normal fire nation childhood. He went to school, had many friends, and even learned how to play the sungi horn (Even though he hated doing it). This normal lifestyle however bored Lee. He always wanted to have excitement in his life, so he got in trouble regularly. The thrill of trying to get out of trouble always was fun for Lee.
Lee was also one of the children that had the ability of firebending. Very few people know about this ability however. With his father being a blacksmith, Lee was constructed a custom pair of dual Dao swords as a 14th birthday present. He had training from his father every day after school. After 2 years of training, the swords had become a second nature to him.
His parents found out about his firebending when they came home early one day to find him practicing his aim on the family messenger hawk. Only his parents, his closest friends, and his firebending master . He likes to hide his firebending from everyone so he and get to know them better before revealing his biggest secret. He mastered the basics around age 16. It was also around this time that Lee was getting bored with the fire nation. He wanted some more excitement in his life. He decided that he would make the biggest step of his life and go on an adventure to the rest of the nations. He left a note for his parents and left for his adventure with his swords, and and dreams ahead of him.

Simba:Simba is an armadillo Lion that Lee met on his travels. The shop keeper that he bought him from was very anxious to get rid of the beast. Lee has not figured out why yet, and he is not determined to find out. Lee is rarely seen without Simba by his side or in the vicinity. Since Lee has been with Simba, the beast has become very tamed and responds to voice commands only by Lee.
