She had been asked to trust, and so trust Malina did. The bow and arrow didn't leave her grip, but she did lower them just enough to relieve the tension in the air.
The boy's tone took a more aggressive approach, and the South Pole native only found it appropriate that she should finally talk with him directly. Because he had been abusing this forest, Malina felt especially inclined to speak up. He was right in saying that he was on his own home soil, but that meant very little in the large scheme of things. "It matters," she started, "because you are illegally chopping down trees and could potentially set the forest ablaze with your negligent fire care. Not even your own authorities look highly upon forest fire starters."
Not too long after she had finished her words, a low roar was heard. Malina's bow and arrow came back up immediately, preparing to aim at whatever beast was nearby. The bellow was surely the call of a carnivorous predator, which spelled danger for all humans in attendance -- all except for the stranger (of course) who was familiarized with the Armadillo Lion that came bursting from the thrush.
The stranger called Simba to rest, and Malina lowered her weapon once again to show that she wouldn't attack. She turned her head to Izo and whispered, "I want to leave."

Lee petted his Lion armadillo. Now, he was on the offensive. They had no proof that he was a firebender, so he was fine with this. Simba let out a large yawn that revealed his teeth to everyone, then he got comfortable and laid down on the ground.
"The only tree that I practiced on was the dead one over there. I also have no fire implements on me, unless you mean my fiery personality. It's a little bias when you assume that all the fire nation are firebenders. As for the burns, I couldn't tell you how those got there." Lee said in conclusion.
Lee then thought about what he had said earlier about them being intruders. "Look. I apologize about telling you that you are intruding. It's just that I don't usually have time to think when there are arrows aimed at me in a threatening way. I'm sorry if I came off as hostile." Lee said, trying to make amends with these two strangers.
"I'm Lee. and this is my buddy Simba. Who are you?" He asked the strange duo.

” a simple answer plastered beneath a near perfect tone of voice, Izō decided it best to keep their conversation short for the time-being. Unlike Lee, they were indeed intruders upon the most hostile of provinces within the world. They couldn’t compromise this, and the Airbender would surely not risk the health and wellbeing of the woman he loved over a mere exchange of names with a man he suspected of being a Fire Bender. “ Are you sure?” He’d inquire softly into her ear, clarifying her intent and readiness to leave. If she continued with her previous answer, then this would be the last time the three exchanged words for the time-being. [/div]

[/ul][/blockquote][/blockquote]

Malina replaced her bow and arrow and now stood beside Izo, listening to the young Fire Nation native defend himself. She didn't find his jokes about his fiery personality very funny. "That tree was dying, not dead." She folded her arms across her chest and stood to one side, growing quite frustrated with the conversation at hand. She couldn't believe that Izo had actually given over his name to the boy - he wouldn't be getting hers.
Because she was in fact a lady, the chocolate-eyed water bender had to return the apology issued by the offender. "And I apologize for aiming at you with my weapon," was the simple sorry. After stating her piece, Malina turned to her companion. She nodded to him, figuring she'd done enough talking for the present, and began to walk back toward the lake she had just left.

Lee nodded his head at Izo. It was true about the air nomads that they were a peaceful people. The water tribe girl on the other hand was kinda rude. "It's nice to meet you Izo." Lee said to the Air bender.
The girl apologized for threatening Lee, but she was still quite rude compared to the air nomad. She walked away without even the common curtsey of introducing herself to him. The Lone Wanderer shot her a look, then turned his attention back at Izo. He took his hand and waved it towards the girl.
"Go chase your woman. It's not worth it losing a girl over someone you just met. we were just leaving anyways." Lee said to the stranger. He looked at the damage he had done to the land. It was true what they said about fire. The most destructive of all the four elements.
"Right. We shall be off." Lee said,as he readjusted his swords on his belt. The Lone Wanderer looked around one last time before whistling to Simba to follow him. The liondillo looked at his owner with a stragnge look before getting up with attitude. The Lone Wanderer took a few steps backwards before waving at Izo and making his exit. The liondillo had no choice but to tail after his tamer into an unknown location.
