North Pole - 1 Viewing A barren, ice covered land to the north of the world, the North Pole is mostly empty with large mountains of ice. Winter temperatures range from -43C to -25C and Summer temperatures average around freezing point, making this a place that most travellers would not come to unprepared. Central Regions - 1 Viewing Making up most of the central region is the Si Wong desert which remains largely uninhabited. To the west of the desert, the climate is cooler allowing for large deciduous forests, several swamps and the Barren Great Divide. Southern Regions - 1 Viewing The southern regions are lush with bountiful rainfall. As a result, large tropical forests lie along the coast intersected with broad rivers that sweep across the landscape. It is here that richer cities such as Gaoling can be found and the tropics have given way to the Foggy Swamp, home to the Swamp Benders. Towards the far south west, a shortage of rainfall has left the area more arid with great grass plains and it is here that Omashu resides. Republic City The Republic City is a newer City. More highly developed than its neighbouring nations, it is very densely populated and has a strong police force in place to prevent crimes. Its inhabitants used to be members of the Earth Kingdom but have broken away to form a neutral region. They maintain a strong neutral position in the growing tensions, refusing to support any Kingdom, and as a result, refugees from nations have begun to flood into the city, forming large slums on the outside region. *Bending is prohibited throughout most of the city to maintain the peace.* |

Fire Nation Proper - 1 Viewing The Fire Nation is built on a archipelago of volcanic islands to the south of the Earth Kingdom and east of the South pole. The main island is known as the Fire Nation Proper and is home to some of the great Fire Nation cities, including the Fire Nation Capital and Fire Fountain City.
