No New Posts Ba Sing Se

The city is by far the largest city in the world, essentially being more of a small country than a mere city. Ba Sing Se means "Impenetrable City"; the city is so named for its world-famous walls, the gates of which have no hinges or other hardware, and are opened by use of Earthbending. Behind the Outer Wall lies a large expanse of farmland, Lake Laogai, and several mountains. The Inner Wall encloses the city itself.

Lake Laogai is a large lake just outside of Ba Sing Se surrounded by a small deciduous forest. It was once used for less than savoury purposes and has the ruins of an underground facility hidden in its depths.

The Northern Air Temple is thousands of years old. It was one of the four temples of the Air Nomads, and one of the two which exclusively housed male Airbenders. It is located in the mountains along the Northern coast of the Earth Kingdom continent.

Northern Regions
The north-western regions of the Earth Kingdom are covered in dense coniferous forests which are used for logging purposes. Ba Sing Se lies to the north east and beyond it are great mountain ranges that stretch along the coast. Here the Northern Air Temple resides, nestled on top of one of the mountains.
